The LB 4000M is a compact, modular desalination unit producing 180 GPH using the patented Spectra Pearson Pump with up to 75% energy recovery. Designed for flexible installation and easy servicing, it features manual gauge panels, limit switches, and a fixed recovery rate system that eliminates operator adjustments. Unlike the fully integrated LB 4000F, the LB 4000M requires external plumbing and a separate flush system but offers greater adaptability for varied installations.

Description
The LB 4000M is an analog desalination unit that is built using the patented Spectra Pearson Pump which allows for energy efficiencies comparable to large scale industrial desalination plants. The LB 4000M is a compact modular system, making it easy to install, service and operate. These systems will produce 180 gallons/hour (1260 Liters/hour) of potable water from fresh, or up to 25,000 ppm salinity brackish water sources. The Pearson Pump is a breakthrough in pump design, combining a high-pressure piston pump with built-in energy recovery. The energy normally wasted in the high-pressure brine stream is recovered, saving up to 75% of the power required for a standard reverse osmosis system. The Pearson Pumps hydraulically locked recovery rate allows the system to produce the full rated volume of water from virtually any water source, without the user making any changes to the system. Standard systems require operator adjustments as the pressure changes, but our fixed recovery rate system eliminates the need for operator input and prevents membrane damage. The LB 4000M systems include a gauge panel with membrane and boost pressure gauges, inlet and permeate flow meters, low boost pressure and high membrane pressure limit switches, Spectras unique high pressure module with Pearson Pump technology, 5 micron cartridge filters, and an installation kit. All landbased systems require a low pressure feed pump (not included) based on your site specific requirements. Depending on the quality of the feed water available on your site media filters may be also be required to allow the prefilters to last for a reasonable amount of time.
