Spectra/Katadyn partner Lia Ditton has faced numerous challenges in her quest to row solo and unsupported from San Francisco to Hawaii. Large waves capsized her boat and unfavorable currents would often erase her progress from the day's rowing. Through all of these physical and mental challenges, Lia stayed resolute and broke the women's rowing record by over 10 days! Lia relyed on a Katadyn PowerSurvivor 40E to provide water for drinking, bathing, and reconstituting the dehydrated meals that sustained her. Congratulations, Lia. We'll be following along as you attempt even greater feats!
