Description

The LB 2800F is an analog desalination unit utilizing the patented Spectra Pearson Pump, designed for energy efficiency comparable to large scale industrial plants. It is a turnkey solution that produces 120 gallons 444 liters of potable water per hour from fresh, brackish, or seawater sources. The unit can be equipped with an optional custom built PC board controller for fully automated operation. The LB 2800F system is integrated into a stainless steel frame and factory tested to strict performance specifications. The Pearson Pump features a high pressure piston pump with built in energy recovery, reclaiming up to 75 percent of wasted power in the high pressure brine stream. Its “hydraulically locked” recovery rate allows the system to maintain full rated water production from nearly any source without user adjustments. Unlike standard systems requiring pressure changes, the fixed recovery rate prevents operator input and membrane damage. Housed in a rugged 304 powder coated stainless steel frame, the unit is pre plumbed, tested, and includes a built in permeate flush tank, which doubles as a cleaning tank via simple valve adjustments. Landbased systems require a low pressure feed pump not included tailored to site specific needs. Depending on feed water quality, additional prefilters may be necessary to extend filter life.
