Description

The LB 400 is one of the most advanced, energy-efficient, and easy-to-use reverse osmosis watermakers available. Designed for stationary applications, it produces 16 gallons (64 liters) of fresh water per hour and can operate up to 12 hours per day using salty or brackish water. Built with Spectra’s proprietary Clark Pump, a high-pressure intensifier, the LB 400 is so energy efficient that it can often run on solar panels or a wind generator. It comes complete with the Spectra Clark Pump, membrane module, filter assembly, feed water flow meter, pressure gauge, product quality test meter, plus fittings, hose, and tubing. A source pump is required to deliver raw water to the system. For site-specific details and a quote, contact our sales team.

Quick Facts

• Simple analog controls and gauges, no electronics
• Energy-efficient, requiring as little as 350 watts to purify seawater
• Can be powered by solar and wind power
• Fixed water recovery ratio for easy operation, optimized for long reverse osmosis membrane life
• Patented energy recovery design and automated controls eliminate the need for constant monitoring by an operator
• Composite construction for superb corrosion resistance
• Membranes are protected from overpressure and scaling by design and can last 8-10 years or more with proper maintenance
